Location: Fully remote Type: Part-time contractor Time: Approximately 10–15 hours per week Channels: Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
You’re the type of person who identifies something interesting about running, translates it into a strong idea and then script, shoot and edit the finished piece yourself.
You’ll own kaizen’s day-to-day social content: deciding what we should talk about, appearing on camera, creating the content, publishing it and learning from what performs. The goal is to make kaizen an account that committed runners genuinely want to follow with interesting insights, not just a random training app that posts marketing.
We have already experimented a lot and have some indications of what works, what doesn't and some opportunities we haven't yet explored.
kaizen is a load-based running training app used by more than 50,000 runners. We’re live on iOS and Android, and recently raised a pre-seed round to accelerate our progress.
We believe runners deserve a better understanding of their training: the training they’ve done, the fitness it builds and what they should do next. Our content should do the same thing; helping runners understand their training while giving them something useful, interesting or entertaining enough to share with someone else.
You’ll create four to five original pieces each week across short-form video, carousels, static posts and other lightweight formats. Strong ideas can be adapted across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts; we don’t expect separate concepts for every channel or every piece to be a major production.
This is an end-to-end creative role. You won’t be handed a finished script and asked to edit it. You’ll help decide what we should make, create it and use the results to make the next piece better. There's licence to experiment and commit.
